CAMPUSHABITAT5U rewards the best works on habitat and territory developed by students of Higher Level Training Cycles
The five Valencian public universities have called for Innovation Awards in Habitat and Territory aimed at students of Higher Level Training Cycles (CFGS). The contest will award prizes to innovative works in the fields related to the areas of action of the Campus of International Excellence (CAMPUSHABITAT5U).
This is the first call of these awards, which acknowledge original works of students of Higher Level Training Cycles in the areas of habitat or territory relating to building, home, planning and management of social space, which involve an innovative idea related to any of the areas of action of CAMPUSHABITAT5U. Papers have to be developed in teams of 3 to 5 students, with the permission of their school. The Jury will take into account the innovative approach of the idea, project or improvement developed by the work and its applicability.
The contest will award five first prizes to the best works, with an amount of €2,000 for the students of the team and €500 for each centre of studies, and 15 prizes for the finalists, with a budget of €1,000 each one, for the students of the team and €250 for their centre of studies. The first prizes will include free tuition fees for the enrolment in the first university year in case students enrol in one of the participating universities.
These awards are aimed at teams of students enrolled during the 2012/2013 academic year in the second year of studies of Higher Level Training Cycles at a centre in the Valencian Community. Teams that attend this call can present their instance and documentation until 15 May, in the Registry of the university to which their centre is attached for the purpose of conducting university entrance tests.
